SlotWise Pro is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) appointment and event scheduling platform. We provide HIPAA-aware scheduling workflows, participant management, and automated transactional notifications (SMS, email, IVR) to organizations in healthcare research, clinical operations, events, education, and professional services. SlotWise Pro is the software provider that enables organizations to communicate scheduling updates to their own participants — we are not a marketing platform, lead generation service, or affiliate messaging broker.
2. Campaign Use Case
Use case type:Transactional — Appointment Reminders & Scheduling Notifications
SlotWise Pro sends SMS messages exclusively for transactional, service-related scheduling communications, including:
- Appointment confirmation notices
- Appointment reminder notices
- Rescheduling notices
- Cancellation notices
- Related appointment status updates
- Customer care / support responses initiated by the recipient
All messages are sent only to individuals who have explicitly opted in through the SlotWise Pro consent workflow described in Section 4 below.
3. What SlotWise Pro Does NOT Send
SlotWise Pro SMS is not used for, and expressly prohibits customers from using it for:
- Promotional or marketing messages
- Affiliate marketing or lead generation
- Third-party advertising
- Messaging to purchased, rented, scraped, or third-party-acquired phone lists
- Bulk commercial campaigns unrelated to the scheduling service
- Any messaging that is not directly related to a confirmed scheduling interaction with the message recipient
4. Opt-In Process (Step-by-Step)
The following is the complete opt-in workflow used by SlotWise Pro. The public website is https://www.slotwisepro.com. The SMS consent documentation is at /sms-consent and the opt-in example is at /sms-opt-in.
- The end user (participant, patient, student, or attendee) navigates to the SlotWise Pro booking or enrollment workflow provided by the organization.
- The user enters their mobile phone number in the designated field.
- The user is shown an SMS consent checkbox. The checkbox is unchecked by default and must be manually selected by the user to opt in to SMS.
- The checkbox disclosure text reads: “I agree to receive transactional SMS appointment notifications from SlotWise Pro, including appointment confirmations, reminders, rescheduling notices, cancellation notices, and related appointment status updates. Message frequency varies, typically 1–5 messages per appointment or event. Msg & Data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out. Consent is optional and is not required to receive services or schedule an appointment. View our Privacy Policy at https://www.slotwisepro.com/privacy and Terms of Use at https://www.slotwisepro.com/terms.”
- SMS consent is separate from acceptance of the Terms of Use or creation of a SlotWise Pro account. Users may complete the booking workflow without selecting the SMS checkbox.
- If the user does not opt in to SMS, they may receive appointment communications through alternative channels (such as email) where offered by the organization.
- When the user manually selects the checkbox and submits the form, SlotWise Pro records: consent timestamp, source page URL, phone number, and the exact consent language displayed at opt-in.
- Following confirmed opt-in, SlotWise Pro sends only transactional appointment SMS messages: confirmations, reminders, rescheduling notices, cancellations, and related service updates.
- The user may opt out at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for support information.
5. Sample Messages
The following are representative sample messages sent under this campaign. All messages are appointment-related transactional notifications only.

6. STOP / HELP Handling
STOP: Recipients may reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe. SlotWise Pro processes opt-out requests immediately. One final confirmation message may be sent after STOP to confirm unsubscription. No further messages will be sent after opt-out.
HELP: Recipients may reply HELP to receive support contact information. The HELP response includes the brand name and a support contact method (email or website).
7. Message Frequency and Rates
Message frequency varies based on appointment or event activity, typically 1–5 messages per appointment or event. Msg & Data rates may apply. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
8. SMS Privacy
SlotWise Pro does not sell, rent, trade, or share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Service providers used to operate and deliver the messaging service are contractually prohibited from using recipient information for their own marketing purposes.
